I kicked a hole in my wall.
It made a perfect oval;
six by twelve I measured.
I crawled on through shyly.
I cried on you dryly.
I swear it was all because
of the atmospheric pressure.
Everyone had already seen it,
But I never thought to look.
My book was just closed to all,
but it wasn't close to being finished.
I just didn't want any witness,
but you knew that I needed one,
so you answered the call.
I mistook your shiny trench coat
for a beautiful straight jacket.
How did they all know the truth,
When I never would've guessed it?
I just never got the message.
But I finally got it down now...
I crawled through my hole to find you.
